I can relate to struggling in math concepts. I have a leaning disability and mathematics often took me longer to understand than most students. Fortunately a number of my teachers were willing to meet me outside of class and give me extra help. I know it is often said but practice makes perfect, and math is a good example of that.

Thanks for the suggestions about math books for teens! My daughter loved math in elementary school, but was not allowed to work at the higher level she was capable of. She learned that math in school was boring and tuned the teachers out. Along the way she missed critical, fundamental information, and now struggles and thinks she is bad at math. This is one of the primary reasons I have chosen to home school her, but I needed resources that would refresh my skills while I help her learn----this could be it!
