Hi,
My name is Sherri Joubert. I’m a single mom and I work from home as a professional blogger. I also work at our local library branches tutoring many students in high school math (algebra I, algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, and pre-calculus) and science (biology, chemistry, physics, and physical science). I tutor students in math for the GED test. I also tutor students in reading, English language arts, and math in a summer enrichment program.
My background isn’t that of the usual teacher. I have a bachelor of science degree in chemistry and I spent 20 years as a practicing chemist in industry. I have never taught in a classroom. All my teaching experience comes from one-on-one tutoring and homeschooling my son.
I’ve been homeschooling my son since the spring of 2007.
